Walker Batters Clayton Valley Charter High School for 5 Hits Monday, March 21st , 2022 There are moments in a player's career that they will not soon forget. Kevin Walker of the Etowah High School Eagles had one such moment at Clayton Valley High School Stadium, when he went 5 for 5 at the plate. His hitting heroics weren't enough to pull out the victory, however, and Etowah High School succumbed to defeat, 9-5, to the Clayton Valley Charter High School Eagles. "This was quite a day for me individually, but a little disheartening at the same time," the 14-year-old first baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "It would have been very special if we had won the game." Kevin Walker singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. |
