						Best AHS Reliever Named

						At the age of 15, Danny Horst says he still has a lot to learn about life in ABA High School.
  But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the Marcus High School Marauders reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2024 ABA High School Reliever of the Year Award.
  "I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the  Garland, Texas native said.
  For the season, Horst had 6 saves in 17 relief appearances, which totaled 32.2. He fanned 40 betters, while walking 4 and put up a record of 1-2 to go with his 1.10 ERA.
  He received 47 first place votes out of a possible 64. Zach Doerr of the Georgetown High School Eagles finished second in voting with 17 first place votes, while Troy Alexion of the Georgetown High School Eagles finished third.
