Manager Haling Purged by IMG Academy Tuesday, June 4th , 2024 Damien Haling had actually diagnosed the problem himself just weeks ago. After a particularly bad stretch of games earlier in the season he said, "The team just needs to change the way it's operating." He probably didn't expect his firing to be one of those changes, though. Nevertheless, this is the route the IMG Academy Ascenders have decided to take, firing Haling late last night. The Ascenders have had internal discussions on a potential replacement, but an unnamed source within the front office said that they're taking it one step at a time. The first step seems to have been to remove Haling. |
