Manager Baldwin 86'd by Buchanan High School Tuesday, June 4th , 2024 It came as no surprise when Chris Baldwin was fired from his post as the manager of the Buchanan High School Bears, not even for the man himself. Speaking to reporters minutes after being informed of his termination, Baldwin said, "It's no big shock I guess, but it still hurts. Nobody ever likes to be told they can't do a job they love anymore." Baldwin was a fan favorite and much-heralded for being a player's manager, team general manager said. "At the end of the day baseball is about what happens between the lines. We'd love to have kept a quality baseball man like Chris in the Buchanan High School organization, but he felt it was better to move on." |
