Bad News for Keller High School, Churchill Injured Sunday, May 12th , 2024 Noel Churchill of the Keller High School Indians was injured in today's game against Georgetown High School and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a torn flexor tendon in his elbow, and he is expected to be out for up to 12-13 months. It happened while Churchill was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." Churchill has worked 25.1 innings in 18 relief appearances thus far this season and picked up 9 saves. He has dished out 33 strikeouts and walked 8 with a 0-0 mark and a 1.78 ERA. |
