Lancers Sweep Round 3 Saturday, May 30th , 2026 It's party time in Orange Lutheran High School. The confetti is flying and residents are smiling. The Orange Lutheran High School Lancers have reached the mountaintop, capturing the 2026 Round 3 today. They defeated the Coppell High School Cowboys 4-2 at Coppell ISD Baseball Complex to officially wrap up the series 4-0. Asked how it feels to be a champion, first baseman Steve Embly was to the point. "It feels great, like a million bucks. I'm so happy right now, not just for me but for all the guys," he said. "We put a lot of work into this and deserve to be champions." The team is planning a victory parade and fan appreciation day later in the week. Orange Lutheran High School finished the regular season 29-11 and claimed first place in the High School Baseball League California Interscholastics Federation. |
