Warriors Heading to Round 3 Monday, May 26th , 2025 The sweet swing of Nick Hickson has led his team through the Round 2. The Calvary Christian High School Warriors star earned series MVP honors as his club downed the Allatoona High School Buccaneers to advance to the Round 3. The Warriors won the final game at Victory Field by a score of 8-3 and the series 4-2. "I'm seeing the ball well and happy to contribute to a win," said Hickson. "I hope it continues for the rest of the playoffs." For the series, Hickson hit .391 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 7 runs. The Calvary Christian High School Warriors will play against the Georgetown High School Eagles in the next round. Georgetown High School won their series against the Etiwanda High School Eagles 4 games to 1. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |
