Calvary Christian High School Advances to Round 2 Saturday, May 17th , 2025 The joy and relief on the faces of the Calvary Christian High School Warriors players was obvious as they celebrated their Round 1 win over the Cypress High School Centurions. "In a series like this, the smallest thing can make the difference in how it turns out," said Calvary Christian High School first baseman Alex Hall, shortly after the 14-4 win that clinched the series 4-3. "We're happy we did what it takes to get it done." The team is now off to the Round 2. Hall won series MVP honors on the strength of his .517 batting average during the series. He also had a .562 on-base percentage and 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Calvary Christian High School Warriors will play against the Allatoona High School Buccaneers in the next round. Allatoona High School won their series against the Orange Lutheran High School Lancers 4 games to 0. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
