Eagles Heading to Round 2 Wednesday, May 14th , 2025 The Georgetown High School Eagles are off to the Round 2. By a final score of 4-2 at Cavalier Field, Georgetown High School ended the Round 1 and knocked out the Lake Travis High School Cavaliers by a series score of 4-1. "Two great teams, only one can go on and we're happy that's us," said John Breshears, who was named series MVP. "There's no easy games, no easy series in the ABA High School playoffs." For the series, Breshears hit .500 with a .565 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Georgetown High School Eagles don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Etiwanda High School Eagles - North Cobb Christian High School Eagles series. Etiwanda High School leads the series 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
