Buccaneers Move on to Round 2 Tuesday, May 13th , 2025 The Orange Lutheran High School Lancers were simply overmatched by the Allatoona High School Buccaneers in the Round 1. The end result was a sweep, as Allatoona High School has cruised to the Round 2, with the final win coming at Buccaneer Baseball Field by a score of 2-1. "We're clicking and running on all cylinders at the moment," said Kyle Wilhelm, who was named MVP of the Round 1. "We're a dangerous team when we play like this." For the series, Wilhelm hit .357 with a .357 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Allatoona High School Buccaneers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Cypress High School Centurions - Calvary Christian High School Warriors series. Cypress High School leads the series 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
