Joel Chavez Injured, Out for Season Monday, May 5th , 2025 The season is ending on a bad note for Joel Chavez, starting pitcher for the Lowndes High School Vikings. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Chavez was hurt against the North Oconee High School Titans while throwing a pitch. He suffered a damaged elbow ligament and will be out for at least 13-14 months. This year, Chavez has fanned 17 in 24.1 innings and collected a 1-4 record with a 8.51 ERA. |
