ABA High School Selects Manager of the Year Friday, June 18th , 2021 The Sinton High School Pirates had an outstanding season, much of it due to their astute and gifted skipper. For his managerial excellence, Danny Hinton reaped the reward of being voted ABA High School Manager of the Year. "A manager is only as good as the players he's managing," Hinton told reporters. "If I didn't have the talent to work with, making all the right moves wouldn't have helped a bit." Under Hinton the Pirates finished first in the High School Baseball League University Interscholastics League with a record of 27-13. |
