Hit Streak Now at 20 for Andrews Monday, April 28th , 2025 Matt Andrews ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games at Delgado Stadium, when he collected 2 hits in 5 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Pace High School Patriots dropped the game, 9-6, to the North Hall High School Trojans. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Andrews said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Matt Andrews grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 8th and tripled in the 9th. To date, Andrews has collected 55 hits for a .407 average. He has posted 15 home runs, scored 38 runs and driven in 28 runs. |
