Ridin' High: Thorsen Hits for Cycle Saturday, April 26th , 2025 Mike Thorsen stole the headlines, hitting for the cycle in the 7-3 Jesuit High School Tigers win over the Tompkins High School Falcons. "Well that was fun, huh?" he said, smiling, after the game. His 4 hits got the Tigers offense going and his 3 RBI and 2 runs scored helped to seal the verdict. Mike Thorsen hit a two-run home run off Chris Hawley in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and singled in the 8th. For the season, Thorsen is currently batting .384 with 17 home runs and 41 RBIs. In 32 games he has reached base at a .458 rate and scored 30 runs to date. |
