Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for McCauley Friday, April 25th , 2025 Jeremy McCauley continued his streak at JSerra High School Stadium, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The JSerra Catholic High School catcher was 2-for-5 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 20 games. The Lions were not as fortunate, losing, 13-8, to the Cypress High School Centurions. "McCauley was hitting everything we threw at him," said Cypress High School manager Jason Trahan. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame and we came away with a win." Jeremy McCauley singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. Posting a .340 batting average to date, McCauley has 6 home runs and 23 RBIs. |
