Holcomb Stretches Hit String to 20 Friday, April 25th , 2025 Sam Holcomb of the Parkview High School Panthers tagged 1 hit in today's 8-3 loss to the Buford High School Wolves at Hugh Buchanan Field to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Sam Holcomb flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Thus far in 2025, Holcomb is hitting .403 with 10 home runs, 24 RBIs, 19 runs scored and has compiled a .462 OBP. |
