Skipper Coronel Terminated by Mustangs Monday, June 7th , 2021 Stockdale High School is now without a skipper after the announcement of manager Harry Coronel's firing earlier today. Sources close to the Mustangs are saying that Coronel had lost the confidence of the players and had allowed apathy and selfishness to take over the clubhouse. The Stockdale High School front office was unavailable for comment on the matter other than to confirm the manager's firing. A BNN poll done immediately after the announcement went public showed fan reaction seems mixed. "Glad that bum is gone," said one disgruntled fan. Several others were displeased with the decision, telling reporters, "Coronel did the best he could with the talent and money he had." No timetable has been set by the team for announcing a replacement. |
