Pirates Win 2021 Round 3 Saturday, June 5th , 2021 The Sinton High School Pirates pulled out all the stops tonight, winning the Round 3 in a hard-fought series with the Pope High School Greyhounds. It was a seesaw affair, but with a 7-6 victory at Sinton Pirates Baseball Stadium, Sinton High School lay claim to the franchise's 2nd championship. "There's no denying we faced a tough opponent," said Prakoso Ernalia. "But as the old saying goes, 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going,' and that's what we did today." The champs finished the regular season 27-13 and claimed first place in the High School Baseball League University Interscholastics League. A victory parade is set to be scheduled in Sinton High School in the days to come. |
