Charlie Zimmerman Bashes Three over the Wall

In a powerful performance that left the fans at Lowndes High School Baseball Stadium buzzing, Cardinal Gibbons High School Chiefs left fielder Charlie Zimmerman blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 6-3, over the Lowndes High School Vikings.
"Everything was clicking," Zimmerman told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Zimmerman shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 3 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Chiefs manager Alan Pool said. "Charlie played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Charlie Zimmerman was hit by a pitch in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Adam Norlin in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Joel Chavez in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 8th.
This season, Zimmerman is batting .312 with 34 hits and 9 home runs. He has scored 27 times and has 15 RBI.
