In a game played at Boerne ISD Sports Complex, the Boerne High School shortstop blistered the Notre Dame High School Knights for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a good 20-9 victory. "James was too tough to get out," Knights skipper Jonas LeMire said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Dustin James hit a GRAND SLAM off Mike Portell in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Mike Portell in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Matthew Pothier in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. In 11 games this season, James is batting .242 with 8 hits and 3 home runs. He has scored 6 runs and driven in 13. |
