James Rockets 3 HR Against Notre Dame High School Monday, April 21st , 2025 Boerne High School Greyhounds shortstop Dustin James had a magnificent game against the Notre Dame High School Knights, rocketing three balls out of Boerne ISD Sports Complex to help the Greyhounds win, 20-9. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, James went 5-for-5 with 12 RBIs and 4 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Boerne High School manager Aaron Barger said later. "Seems like Dustin found his home run stroke today." Dustin James hit a GRAND SLAM off Mike Portell in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Mike Portell in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Matthew Pothier in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. James is currently hitting at a .242 pace with 3 home runs and 13 RBIs. He has played in 11 games and scored 6 times. |
