5-for-6 Day for Marsh Tuesday, May 2nd , 2023 Marcus High School defeated American Heritage High School at American Heritage Baseball Complex. The star of the game for the Marauders was third baseman Jim Marsh. His hitting heroics included a 5-for-6 day, paving the way for Marcus High School's 13-0 triumph over the Patriots. Jim Marsh hit a two-run home run off Nick Cole in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Steve Minton in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Steve Minton in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Marsh is currently batting .351 with 14 home runs, 37 runs scored and 34 RBIs. His OBP is .453. |
