Walsh Goes Deep 3 Times Sunday, April 20th , 2025 At Coppell ISD Baseball Complex, Justin Walsh hit homer after homer after homer. But they didn't add up to enough to beat the Villa Park High School Spartans as the Coppell High School Cowboys went down to defeat, 12-11. "It was a good game for me, not so good for our team," the Coppell High School third baseman said. "I got lucky. I made some good swings on some pitches. We just didn't put up one in the win column." On his monumental day, he had 3 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 3 runs, and scored 4 times. "The third one was totally unexpected," Walsh told reporters after his extraordinary game. "I just wanted to make good contact, never thinking I would get another home run and bang, I got number three." Justin Walsh hit a solo-shot off Taylor Robison in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Taylor Robison in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, walked in the 8th, hit a solo-shot off Jody Cassells in the 9th and struck out in the 10th. In the current season, Walsh has put up a .317 batting average with 33 hits, 20 home runs, 34 RBI and scored 24 runs. |
