Beasley Tags Greyhounds for 5 Hits
Sunday, April 20th , 2025
It was a sensational day at the plate for Dustin Beasley as he led the charge to a nifty 14-8 win over the Greyhounds. The Notre Dame High School second baseman was pure misery for the Boerne High School pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.
"Beasley put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Aaron Barger, manager for the Greyhounds, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."
Dustin Beasley singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Dusty Raymond in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
Beasley is hitting .300 this season with 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 30 hits in 100 at-bats.
