Patriots Andrews Raps 3 Homers Sunday, April 20th , 2025 Matt Andrews showed off his power as he launched three balls into the seats against the Tompkins High School Falcons and sparked the Patriots to a win, 8-7. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I have always liked to hit at Delgado Stadium." For the day, Andrews collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 4 RBIs. "He was instant offense today," Pace High School skipper Billy Stamey said. "Matt really put on a show." Matt Andrews hit a solo-shot off Jorge Garcia in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Jorge Garcia in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Chris Adams in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. Andrews is hitting at a .388 mark this season. His stats show 12 home runs, 23 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has played 25 games for the Patriots. |
