Franklin on Fire: 5-for-5 for Rockwall-Heath High School Saturday, April 19th , 2025 Josh Franklin was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Anthony Rizzo Field, the Rockwall-Heath High School first baseman blistered the Stoneman Douglas High School Eagles for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a good 10-4 victory. "Franklin was too tough to get out," Eagles skipper R.C. Houle said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Josh Franklin singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Andy Kemmis in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Nate Crocker in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off David Shea in the 8th. Batting .442 to date, Franklin has 10 home runs and 25 RBIs. |
