Hawks Heading to High School World Series Sunday, May 26th , 2019 The Rockwall-Heath High School Hawks and Tompkins High School Falcons put on a classic Final Four that was in question until the final game. In the end, Rockwall-Heath High School won the deciding contest by a score of 8-2, to take the series 3-2. "It doesn't get much tighter than that. To win a series in the last game is a thrill," said Drew Riggi, who earned series MVP honors for Rockwall-Heath High School. "Our guys are breathing a little easier now." For the series, Riggi hit .579 with a .652 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Rockwall-Heath High School Hawks will play against the Saint Francis High School Lancers in the next round. Saint Francis High School won their series against the Stoneman Douglas High School Eagles 3 games to 0. The High School World Series schedule will be announced after the Final Four finishes. |
