Lancers Win Final Four Thursday, May 23rd , 2019 After their 9-4 win today at Saint Francis High School Stadium over the Stoneman Douglas High School Eagles, the Saint Francis High School Lancers will advance to the High School World Series. Saint Francis High School won the series by a 3-0 margin. Leading the way for the Lancers was center fielder John Lendon, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP. "I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus." The Saint Francis High School Lancers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Rockwall-Heath High School Hawks - Tompkins High School Falcons series. Rockwall-Heath High School leads the series 2 games to 0. The High School World Series schedule will be announced after the Final Four finishes. |
