AHS Player of the Week Goes to Nelson of JSerra Catholic High School Monday, April 14th , 2025 Not every ball that came off Troy Nelson's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the JSerra Catholic High School Lions. For his exploits, Nelson was named this week's ABA High School Player of the Week award. The JSerra Catholic High School third baseman put up 15 hits in 26 at-bats and 3 home runs while hitting .577 with 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season, Nelson is batting .383 with 9 home runs. |
