McFarland on Fire, 5-for-6 Against North Hall High School Monday, April 24th , 2023 The Buford High School Wolves swept past the North Hall High School Trojans, 20-3, at Cottrell Baseball Field, paced by second baseman Bobby McFarland. The 16-year-old McFarland got 5 hits in 6 at-bats, helping to down the Trojans. Bobby McFarland hit a solo-shot off Jeremiah Robinson in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Matt Comito in the 6th, walked in a run in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Gabe Stevens in the 9th. McFarland is hitting .357 for the season with 10 home runs, 25 RBIs and 26 runs scored. He has 41 hits in 115 at-bats and played in 28 games. |
