ABA High School Picks Top Performer Monday, April 24th , 2023 Clayton Valley Charter High School Eagles third baseman Gary O'Connell had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the ABA High School named him Player of the Week. O'Connell banged out 14 hits in 26 at-bats on the way to a .538 batting average. He also racked up 6 home runs, 10 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Looking at his season stats, O'Connell has compiled a .367 batting average and a .465 on-base percentage, while hitting 8 home runs and driving in 23 runs. |
