Jimenez Catches up on Yard Work -- Slams 4 Homers Friday, April 11th , 2025 In a game for the ages, Marcus High School Marauders first baseman Jesus Jimenez launched 4 home runs at IMG Sports Complex against the IMG Academy Ascenders. Time after time, Jimenez found his stroke against the shell-shocked Ascenders pitching staff, finishing with 9 RBIs and scoring 4 times as the Marauders grabbed the 12-5 victory. "They pitch 'em and I hit 'em. I just did it a little better than them today," Jimenez said to reporters after his historic game. "I won big today, but they might get me out 4 times tomorrow." Jesus Jimenez hit a three-run home run off Adam Johnson in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Adam Johnson in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Seth Hill in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off Ed Kuhn in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. This year, Jimenez has collected a .261 batting average to date with 23 hits in 88 at-bats, 26 RBIs, 12 home runs and scored 18 times. He has played in 21 games. |
