Conley Gone for Season in Cartersville High School
Saturday, April 22nd , 2023
The doctors have spoken and David Conley of the Cartersville High School Hurricanes didn't like what he heard. The 17-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Conley sustained his season-ending injury during the Spring Hill High School Panthers game yesterday at Spring Hill High School Baseball Complex. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Cartersville High School medical staff reported Conley had a bone spur in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4-5 months.

Conley has no saves this season with a won-lost record of 0-2 and 4.50 ERA.
