Wahlert Goes Downtown 3 Times Against Mustangs Thursday, April 10th , 2025 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Cypress Athletic Facilities buzzing, Cypress High School Centurions first baseman Jarrod Wahlert blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 9-4, over the Stockdale High School Mustangs. "Everything was clicking," Wahlert told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Wahlert shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Centurions manager Jason Trahan said. "Jarrod played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Jarrod Wahlert hit a solo-shot off Kevin Rossbach in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Kevin Rossbach in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Kevin Rossbach in the 6th and grounded out in the 7th. This season in 20 games, Wahlert is batting .388 with 13 home runs, 26 RBIs and has scored 23 times. |
