Hargett Rockets 3 HR Against Doral Academy Wednesday, April 9th , 2025 Lake Travis High School Cavaliers right fielder Kyle Hargett had a magnificent game against the Doral Academy Firebirds, rocketing three balls out of Doral Academy Baseball Complex to help the Cavaliers win, 21-0. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Hargett went 4-for-6 with 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Lake Travis High School manager Caleb Carrington said later. "Seems like Kyle found his home run stroke today." Kyle Hargett struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off James Palmer in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Unknown in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 8th and singled in the 9th. A look at his current stats shows Hargett with a .276 average, 5 home runs, 14 RBIs and 16 runs scored. He has played in 19 games. |
