Long Bashes 5 Base Hits Tuesday, April 8th , 2025 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Will Long. Long went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Spring Hill High School pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Spring Hill High School Baseball Complex, he had a 5-for-6 line and a day he will long remember. And the North Cobb Christian High School Eagles had a win, 22-12, over the Panthers. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Will Long hit a solo-shot off Sean Williams in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. This year, Long is batting .324 with 24 hits, 5 home runs, 12 RBIs, 9 walks, .398 OBP and has scored 20 runs. |
