Great Stroke: Andrade Gets 5 Hits Wednesday, April 19th , 2023 The 5th time is the charm -- at least for Angelo Andrade. The left fielder for the Stockdale High School Mustangs hit the milestone against the IMG Academy Ascenders, helping his club to a narrow 12-11 victory. Andrade finished with a 5-for-5 line at the plate. "Andrade was a tough out," IMG Academy manager Damien Haling told the press in the postgame interview. "If it weren't for him, I think we had this one." Angelo Andrade hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Willie Hernandez in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. Thus far this year, Andrade is hitting .286 with 1 home run, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored. |
