Alberti Smacks 5 Hits for Buccaneers Tuesday, April 18th , 2023 The Berkeley Prep High School Buccaneers tripped up the Taravella High School Trojans, 13-10. The Buccaneers were led by Marty Alberti, their 15-year-old right fielder. Alberti made life miserable for Taravella High School pitchers all day, tagging them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Marty Alberti singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a three-run double in the 8th. This season, Alberti has hit at a .317 clip with 9 RBIs, 2 home runs and 17 runs scored. He has played in 23 games. |
