Henning Bombs 3 HR Against Loganville High School Wednesday, May 1st , 2024 Fans are still buzzing after Stockdale High School whipped the Loganville High School Red Devils by the score of 26-9 at Stockdale High School Baseball Field. Jay Henning smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the first baseman bashed out 3 hits in 3 at-bats, had 12 RBIs and scored 4 times. At the postgame press conference, Henning said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Henning said. "Three is just... wow." Jay Henning walked in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jalen Williams in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Josh Carlson in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Robbie Mansfield in the 6th and walked in the 8th. Henning on the season is batting .315 with 11 home runs. His totals include 37 RBIs and 29 runs scored. He has played in 35 games. |
