Jonathan Lewis Strokes 3 Home Runs Saturday, May 16th , 2026 Fans are still buzzing after Encinitas whipped the Libertyville Polecats by the score of 13-4 at Field of the Polecats. Jonathan Lewis smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the left fielder bashed out 4 hits in 5 at-bats, had 6 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Lewis said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Lewis said. "Three is just... wow." Jonathan Lewis hit a solo-shot off Mitch Wojciechowski in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Danny Villa in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Gabe Thomas in the 9th. This season, Lewis is hitting .312 with 8 home runs. |
