DeVaul Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Boise Friday, April 26th , 2024 The Boise Dread Kings did something to Paul DeVaul no team had done for the last 20 games -- they stopped him, ending his consecutive-game hitting streak. Unfortunately, they couldn't do the same to the Mountaineers, who came away with the 4-3 victory at Mountaineers Park. "Hey, I knew it wasn't going to last forever," the 22-year-old left fielder said of the demise of his streak. "It was a good ride while it lasted."
