Sonoma Loses John Wright, Will Miss Season Saturday, June 11th , 2022 John Wright has to call it a season. The Sonoma Scorpions reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Cincinnati Bombardiers and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Wright was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 17 months. Wright's record so far this season is 3-and-0 with 1 save and a 0.00 ERA. He has given up 3 hits in 9.2 innings with 14 strikeouts. |
