Year Ends for Jordan Briones in Aurora Monday, May 23rd , 2022 Jordan Briones of the Suns just might have to call it quits for the season. The 26-year-old Aurora reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Alcoa Millionaires recently at Suns Field. Briones suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch. The Suns medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 9 months. This season, Briones has picked up 1 save and posted a 0-0 record with a 2.92 ERA. He has 7 relief appearances, tossed 12.1 innings and struck out 12. |
