Polecats Stedronsky to Miss Year Sunday, May 15th , 2022 When Brent Stedronsky was hurt against the Fresno Running Rebels, the Libertyville Polecats were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 24-year-old starting pitcher suffered radial nerve compression throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Stedronsky would miss 5 months of the season. On the season, Stedronsky has compiled a 4-1 mark with a 2.45 ERA in 8 starts. In pitching 51.1 innings he has 49 strikeouts and 11 walks while limiting the opposition to a .202 batting average. |
