Alcoa's Glanzmann to Miss Season
Sunday, May 2nd , 2021
When Josh Glanzmann was hurt against the Rohnert Park Cougars, the Alcoa Millionaires were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 23-year-old reliever suffered radial nerve compression throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Glanzmann would miss 6 months of the season.
For the year, Glanzmann has 9 relief appearances and a 1-1 record with 1 save. He has logged 18.1 innings and allowed 9 base hits. Opposing clubs have put up a .141 batting average against him. Glanzmann has rung up 15 strikeouts, surrendered 5 walks and fashioned a 0.98 ERA.
