Vest 5-for-6 for Hamilton Monday, April 11th , 2022 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. Zach Vest is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-6 against the Cornwall Royals at King George Park. The monster effort from the 22-year-old left fielder helped the Hamilton Bulldogs get the win, 9-0. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Royals manager Ivan Cabrera. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Zach Vest singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and flied out in the 9th.
