Winchester's Everly Takes 2024 Most Valuable Player Award

Ben Everly took ABA Double A by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 22.
For his spectacular campaign, the Winchester Mountaineers star has been named the 2024 Eastern AA Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the catcher.
On the season he compiled a .333 batting average to go with a .425 on-base percentage. The native of Maplewood, New Jersey also added 29 doubles, 1 triple, 33 home runs, 115 RBIs and 104 runs scored.
He received 23 first place votes out of a possible 24. Steve Valkenburg of the Encinitas Eskimo Brothers finished second in voting, while Pat Bell of the Traverse City Bears finished third with 1 first place vote.
