Best W-AA Reliever Named Saturday, October 12th , 2024 At the young age of only 21, Justin Cox has been named the Western AA Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2024. The future appears bright for the Augusta Capitols relief ace, who captured the award with 5 saves in 51 relief appearances, 55 strikeouts in 52.1 innings and a record of 6-2 to go with his 1.72 ERA. He received 22 first place votes out of a possible 24. Morgan Felty of the Vermont Milkmen finished second in voting, while Jeff Cox of the Augusta Capitols finished third with 2 first place votes.
