Williamson Wins Award for E-AA Dominance Saturday, October 12th , 2024 Brad Williamson said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 26 years old. But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Winchester Mountaineers rising star has won the Eastern AA Reliever of the Year Award for 2024. He captured the award on the strength of his 1.37 ERA over 59 innings. He also had 2 saves in 37 relief appearances, 46 strikeouts and only 15 walks. He received 20 first place votes out of a possible 24. Steve Gryder of the Winchester Mountaineers finished second in voting, while Brian White of the Libertyville Polecats finished third with 4 first place votes.
