Resendez Says Goodbye in Vail Saturday, October 3rd , 2026 Ismael Resendez announced his retirement today according to sources inside the Vail Tigercats organization. Resendez, who is 37 years old, gave reporters some of his plans for the near future. "I'm going to do a lot of hunting and fishing," he said. "I've always been focused on getting ready for the next season, so maybe now I can slow down and enjoy time away from it all." Resendez went back and forth with the press in a friendly manner during his press conference. "I'm sure there's a small-mouth bass out there with my name on it," he said. Lifetime Resendez has a 5-4 won-lost record. His career ERA is 4.20. |
